Soothing soups to detoxify the liver and kidneys

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch kale, stems removed and leaves chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
  2. Add kale and cook until wilted.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot, optionally topped with grated Parmesan.
