Our top tips for keeping your kettle sparkling clean.

White wine vinegar

To remove limescale and lime deposits, grandma’s trick is to use white vinegar. To do this, fill the kettle with one part vinegar and two parts water.

Then boil the solution. Let it sit for 10 minutes and discard the contents. Next, rinse the kettle by boiling the water twice in a row. Then leave the device in the air.

sodium bicarbonate

If you don’t like the strong smell of white vinegar, you can clean the kettle with baking soda.

To do this, we recommend proceeding as with vinegar, but replacing the yeast with vinegar. After cleaning, rinse twice.

lemon juice or citric acid

Citric acid is also a great ally when you want a super clean teapot. To do this, mix 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 1 liter of water and leave it in the kettle for about 3 hours.

Empty the kettle and rinse it twice with boiling water. If you don’t have citric acid, use lemon juice diluted in 1 liter of water.
