CINNAMON BREAD

1st Step

Warm milk and a pinch of sugar should be mixed together in a small bowl. Put the yeast on top of the milk and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. After that, it will start to foam.

2nd Step

Put the flour, the rest of the sugar, the butter that has been softened, the salt, and the eggs into a large mixing bowl. Place the active yeast combination in the bowl. For about 5 to 7 minutes, knead the dough until it’s smooth and stretchy.

3rd Step

Spread some oil in a bowl and cover it with a wet cloth. Let the dough rise for one to one and a half hours, or until it has doubled in size.

4th Step

When the dough has finished rising, punch it down and turn it out onto a surface that has been floured. Make a square out of it that’s about 16 inches by 12 inches.

5th Step

Spread the melted butter over the dough, making sure to leave a little space around the sides. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle it all over the buttered dough.

6th Step

Make a tight log out of the dough by rolling it from the long end in. To fix the gap, pinch it. Put the dough that has been filled with cinnamon into a loaf pan that has been greased. Put a cloth over it and let it rise for another 45 minutes.

7th Step

Warm the oven up to 175°F (350°F). Bake the cinnamon bread for 30 to 35 minutes, or until it reaches a golden brown color after the oven has been prepared.

8th Step

Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth while the bread is baking. This is how you make the sauce. Pour the sauce over the warm cinnamon bread as soon as it comes out of the oven. After it cools down a bit, cut it up and enjoy!
