THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

2 1/2 Cups.Of all-purpose flour.

1 Cup.Of buttermilk.
THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

2 1/2 Cups.Of all-purpose flour.

1 Tbsp.Of baking powder.

1 Tsp.Of salt.

1 Tbsp.Of sugar.

1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter, cold and cubed.

1 Cup.Of buttermilk.

PREPARATION:

Step 1

Prepare your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large mixing basin. The dry ingredients should then be combined with the chilled, cubed butter. Work the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry cutter or your fingertips until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 3

Add the buttermilk and gently mash the dough until it comes together. Don’t overmix the dough; it should still be a little sticky. Then, after turning the dough out onto a floured surface, gently knead it a few times, just long enough to keep it together.

Step 4

Pat the dough to a thickness of about 1 inch. To cut out biscuits, use a circular cookie cutter. You shouldn’t rotate the cutter; just push down and raise.

Step 5

Arrange the sliced biscuits on the lined baking sheet, spacing them out slightly. And then grab any leftover dough pieces, gently knead them together, and cut out more biscuits.

Step 6

Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown on top. After that, take them out of the oven and let them cool before serving.

Step 7

Serve warm with whatever you like or as a wonderful side dish with butter, jam, or honey.

Butter Buttermilk Biscuits are a culinary treasure, offering a taste of Southern comfort and a touch of elegance to any meal. Their tender crumb and rich, buttery flavor make them a beloved addition to breakfasts, brunches, or dinners. These biscuits are a testament to the beauty of simplicity in cooking, transforming basic ingredients into a delectable treat that brings joy to every bite
